No stag night in Sofia is complete without a chalga experience. It is a cultural phenomenon in which so-called folk music is sung by big-breasted barely dressed singers who sing and dance provocatively to techno music mixed in with oriental beats and drums. Activities in Sofia
Work off a chalga hangover with a soak in one of Sofia's hot and cold mineral springs. Otherwise, chase the hangover blues away with an adrenalin-charged extreme bungee jump into the Devetashka cave, one of the largest caves in Bulgaria. The cave was discovered in 1921 and appears to have been a form of shelter since Paleolithic times. You will jump off its entrance which is 50m across and fall 30m, just 5m short of meeting the floor of the cave.
